October 2018 sees Liberty House receiving a new site-specific sculpture depicting historic docklands visuals and text which reference the significant part that sea transportation played in the capital’s commercial success. Alison Russell, the artist, is perhaps more famous for her A-lister handmade paper-cut portraits, yet the style and technique lend themselves perfectly to laser cut sheet metal designs.
Telford Homes Plc commissioned this new public sculpture as part of their new 25 storey mixed-use development overlooking Canary Wharf, alongside the River Thames.
