Redrow Homes Ltd approached Art Projects to propose concept ideas for a new public sculpture, creating a focal point at the entrance to their new residential development of 3,300 homes at Colindale Gardens, London. Jo Chapman was selected from a shortlist of three artists to develop designs for this key space. She has designed an 8 metre high hand/plasma cut mild steel cylinder, shot blast and powder coated with two colours, to mirror the 360 degree views of the roundabout location.
Installation of this exciting new sculpture is on target for March 2018.
