“Sandy Cove” Imaging Centre for Paediatrics
A specialist hospital in the heart of London’s medical district, focussing on paediatric, maternity and health services.
The project mission for “Sandy Cove” Imaging Centre, was to take the viewer on an escapist Caribbean journey featuring the Portland Hospital’s “Portly Panda” emblem in a variety of high-energy outdoor pursuits, to captivate and engage the imagination! These bold designs create a series of dynamic, interconnected positive distractions and infuse the basement space with colour and life. The Caribbean theme was agreed with the nursing team and the playful Panda’s swashbuckling exploits on pirate ships and peaceful snorkelling amongst the colourful corals engage paediatrics in their journey through the department.
